RI's labor movement welcomes unionizing Starbucks workers

The "Rhode Island Labor Movement" welcomed unionizing Starbucks workers on Friday at a special informational picket outside the Pace Avenue store in Warwick where the first Starbucks unionization vote in Rhode Island is scheduled to take place on June 14.

Starbucks employee and union organizer Cassie Burke said in a statement that, "We feel really good about where we are. Everyone's on the same page: We're ready to make this happen together."
