I just wanted a place for people to feel safe and spread the word,” said Kyleigh Sackal, who organized the event.

Protests against police violence and the murder of George Floyd popped up all over Rhode Island today. This morning in Narragansett, Kyleigh Sackal organized a 300 person gathering by the seawall as a 50 car caravan looped past.

“I just wanted a place for people to feel safe and spread the word,” said Sackal.

Latrell Smith came out to support Black Lives Matter. “All the stuff that’s going on in the world, it’s just not right,” said Smith.
