Black Lives Matter Rhode Island staged a small protest outside the Providence Public Safety Complex on Wednesday evening is response to a Louisville Kentucky grand jury’s failure to bring any charges against the three police officers who shot and killed Breonna Taylor in her home. Similar protests, including one that took place later in Providence in which protesters marched briefly on the highway and were met with pepper spray, took place in cities across the nation. The protest lasted about 90 minutes.
